Booking and Payments

4. Car Pickup and Drop-off

Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice given. For accurate information, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Please be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.

Prohibited Activities

• The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities. This includes racing, off-road driving, or other dangerous pursuits. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purpose and must adhere to established passenger and weight limits. Travel outside the agreed geographical boundaries requires prior authorization.

Breach of these terms may lead to immediate rental cancellation and extra fees.

Liability Restrictions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Car Hire in East Calder is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount paid for the rental within the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.

These Terms are regulated by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this region.
